The creative process behind “Samba” was guided more by feeling than structure. “The process started with the feeling of the beat,” he says. “Once that energy was there, everything else followed. It was about letting the song take shape on its own.”

A notable layer within the track is Ben’s use of vernacular language, which adds both identity and authenticity to the record. At the same time, it presented a creative challenge, requiring careful attention to ensure the message remained clear while staying true to his voice.

“Having to write in my mother tongue was a bit of a challenge too, but I got it right after a few attempts.”
