Hosted and associate produced by multi-award-winning broadcaster and producer Relebogile Mabotja, Untied has been nominated for Best Entertainment Show at the National Film & TV Awards (NFTA) South Africa.

The series takes viewers beyond the headlines and into the deeply personal experiences of women navigating divorce, heartbreak, family conflict and the often complicated journey of starting over. Bringing together some of South Africa’s most recognisable women, the series explores the realities of heartbreak, emotional recovery and rediscovering oneself after life takes an unexpected turn. Its willingness to tackle conversations often kept behind closed doors has helped position the show as a space for honest storytelling, allowing women to share vulnerable experiences with dignity and authenticity.

Mabotja’s contribution extends beyond the screen. As both host and associate producer, she brings her experience in broadcasting and production to a project centred on meaningful conversations and the women whose stories give the series its heart.
