Tyla Is Coming Home! GRAMMY-Winning Global Star Announces South African Dates for The A*POP World Tour
South African global superstar Tyla is officially bringing her highly anticipated A*POP World Tour home.
Fresh off the release of her sophomore studio album, A*POP, the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer and songwriter has announced a 34-date global tour spanning Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Africa, with Cape Town and Johannesburg confirmed as the final stops of the tour.
Presented locally by Showtime Management and Anything Goes, Tyla will kick off the South African leg of the tour at Green Point Track in Cape Town on Monday, 4 January 2027, before heading to Expo Centre, Nasrec in Johannesburg on Saturday, 9 January 2027.
For South African fans, affectionately known as the “Tygas”, the announcement marks an emotional homecoming for one of the country’s biggest music exports.
The A*POP World Tour officially begins on 12 October 2026 in Paris before travelling through major cities across Europe and the UK, including Amsterdam, London, Brussels and Stockholm. The North American leg follows in November with performances across cities including Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn, San Diego and Las Vegas. Before returning home, Tyla will also perform in Lagos, Nigeria.
The tour comes after the phenomenal success of her 2025 We Wanna Party Tour, which saw sold-out performances across Asia, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa. This latest production marks Tyla’s first full headline tour across four continents, further cementing her status as one of Africa’s biggest global stars.
Released on 24 July, A*POP has already generated massive excitement worldwide. The 14-track project features fan favourites including CHANEL, IS IT, SHE DID IT AGAIN, and IS IT LOVE, showcasing Tyla’s signature blend of amapiano, pop and R&B that continues to captivate audiences around the world. Stream it HERE.
The album rollout has been nothing short of spectacular. Just hours after its release, Tyla headlined The Today Show’s Citi SummerStage, performing hits including Water, That Girl, Is It Love and Chanel before sitting down with the show’s hosts to discuss the new album and unveil her newly released Bratz doll.
She also made history at the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago by becoming the first international artist to headline the halftime show in the event’s 30-year history. Watch her performance HERE. You can also watch the Vevo music video for the hit single “SHE DID IT AGAIN” featuring Zara Larsson HERE.
Fans have also been treated to Tyla’s latest Vevo live performances, with more exclusive content expected to roll out in the coming weeks.
