Wedding Chefs returns to screens for an exciting second season on SABC1, promising more romance, more tension, and even higher culinary stakes.

Alphi Takes the Lead

Stepping in as host this season is the charismatic Sipho “Alphi” Mkhwanazi, widely known as Alphi Sipho, a rising star whose versatility spans content creation, television presenting, event hosting, writing, and entrepreneurship.

As the season’s “Best Man,” Alphi won’t simply host; he will serve as the couple’s confidant and emotional anchor. From the first Blind Tasting to the final “I Do,” his presence ensures the competition remains intense while keeping the celebration authentic, joyful, and proudly rooted in South African culture.
